John Coletta, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist at University Hospitals St. John Medical Center in Westlake, Ohio. His special clinical interests are coronary artery disease and coronary interventions. He sees patients in both the office and hospital setting.
Dr. Coletta earned his medical doctorate at the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine followed by an internship and residency at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Dr. Coletta went on to further advance his training by completing two fellowships – one in Cardiovascular Medicine and the other in Interventional Cardiology, also at UH Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Coletta has been practicing at University Hospitals St. John Medical Center since completing his training in 2009.

Dr. Coletta was careful to fill me in on various test results and what they mean for me, but also was very sympathetic and understanding and had helpful advice for me about my wife's recent passing away. He is very good at supporting his patients.

I refer to myself as an information gatherer and so I do ask a lot of questions and Dr. Coletta will sit and answer the questions he doesn't stand up and hold onto the door knob while you're asking a question which then creates an atmosphere of directness And answer to questions the delay comes when a physician stance holding the door knob when you get anxious thinking he wants out of here and you can't ask your questions so much appreciated Dr. Coletta style
